The Anti-Tie?

The Times' Bruce Pask extols the virtues of the handkerchief as neckwear on the The Moment blog. "I was going to a theater opening on a recent evening and just didn't feel like sporting my usual 'tie slightly undone/white shirt open at the neck/sport jacket' combo' I rummaged through my bureau looking for who knows what, when I came across a stack of faded-print cotton bandannas," he writes. "If the Parisians can pull off their origami-like mastery of the scarf, why can't I give it a try?" Speaking of handkerchiefs, Tommy Ton caught some in the most unexpected places while shooting some of the men at Florence's Pitti Uomo.
