Don't Fear Lip Balm

If you're not using lip balm, you probably should be. A quick swipe of the stuff keeps your lips smooth and crack-free. And perhaps the only thing worse than flaky lips, is the act of applying some elaborate, goopy designer balm. We don't say this too often, but forgo the department store for the drugstore, and pick up some original ChapStick. We've tested dozens in our time and nothing stands up to this century-old recipe. Back in the 1960s, L.A. Laker Jerry West was the brand's spokesman (that's him on the right) and said it best, "Don't let dry, sore lips spoil your fun."
