Vibskov's Copenhagen flagship just went online with the label's goods along with such other lines as Bernhard Willhelm, Opening Ceremony and Six Scents.

Great Dane

Danish designer Henrik Vibskov has garnered a reputation by those in the know for his loud patterns and playful use of color. It's the sort of sartorial whimsy that comes in handy on days that start by checking the windchill outside. When prices are slashed in a post holiday craze, well that's helpful too. We're especially fond of this Vibskov button-down. The shirt's irregularities, along with the plain white buttons and classic blue and white stripes, make it look like a piece of workwear that got stuck in the large iron machine that made it. The result of some happy accident. It has all the signature quirky details—twisted seams and a folded, stitched front placket—yet is simple enough to sport with a blazer or cardigan to the office. $118, on sale at Oak

  • The designer has played the drums since the age of ten and at 12, won first place at a breakdancing competition.
