$49.90, at Levi's
Good luck finding a better sweatshirt for spring. The blue and white stripes give Levi's "Jefe fleece" a laid back, seafaring feel that pairs just as well with a crisp blazer as it does a rumpled pair of cutoff shorts. When we first laid eyes on it, the contrast collar and cuffs reminded us of this classic shot of James Dean, unwinding at home in California. And to feel it, you might think it was from that time. The breathable loopback jersey material is washed for softness and slightly sun-faded, without looking too faux-distressed. The fit is also decidedly vintage, with trimmer arms than your average fleece without feeling constricting. The finishing touch? Elbow patches, which up the cool factor just enough to make you feel like you're put together—even though you just threw on a simple sweatshirt. And what's more, it's just gone on sale.
