Subtle
Floral Prints

Floral prints are nothing new. They can be traced back to the 1920s, where they were used as linings on workwear items. Then onto bold tropical prints and ill-fitting Hawaiian shirts snatched up by vacationing dads. These days however, the print has seen a recent resurgence. Instead of being obnoxious eye-sores, the new numbers are muted, subtle and tasteful. And while they're not anything to shy away from, they are still all-over prints, so you may want to keep the rest of your kit simple. Go easy by rocking the print on your wrist with a watch strap or go for broke and pull it out on a jacket. There's even a notebook to write down all the ideas that come to you while lounging on the beach. We just hope you left your dad and his baggy Tommy Bahama shirts at home this time around.
