Warm Weather Denim

With brighter days ahead, it's time to think about turning to lighter, washed denims. Artfully distressed in all the right places, washed and worn down, or simply cut from denim fabric that's lighter than your average pair, these jeans are as comfortable right off the rack as that pair of raws you've been living in for the past six months. An important consideration: the lighter the wash, the more informal the effect, so it's probably best to keep these guys as far away from the workplace as possible.

  • Summer weight denim weighs in at 8 to 11 oz. per yard, instead of the heavier 12 to 14 oz. of traditional jeans.
