Scott Sternberg's presentation for Band of Outsiders and Boy (held at Milk Studio's posh penthouse) offered shelter from Hurricane Hanna's torrential rains that hit New York on Saturday. But when we laid eyes on these bad boys, we knew they'd allow us to weather any storm in style. Molded entirely out of rubber, they're part of Sternberg's third collection of subversive Sperry Top-Siders. Look for other versions constructed out of mismatched velcro or pierced with safety pins. Unfortunately, they won't be available until early next spring. Just in time for April showers. Price to be determined.
