Fall is here and we're ready to start dressing. And that means getting cozy. Outerknown's new sherpa jacket is cut from high-pile fleece that looks dense but feels light and flexible. It's made from a blend of wool and recycled polyester, created by taking raw material waste (like plastic bottles) and transforming it into a soft fiber. Plus, the chore coat silhouette looks pretty damn cool in the camel fleece.

All hail the black sheep. There's a lot to like about this preppy-with-an-edge collaboration between Rowing Blazers and Warm & Wonderful. The British brand first created black sheep sweater back in 1979, but it shot to fame when a young Princess Diana began wearing it to thumb her nose at the bad press she was getting in Britain. After going out of production decades ago, Rowing Blazers is bringing it back for both the boys and the girls who want to embrace their rebel style.

We've been waiting for this one. Aesop makes some stellar products like a soothing body balm and very stylish hand sanitizer. And all of it smells amazing. Now they're (finally!) making scented candles. Each is named for an ancient astronomer; each imparts an evocative fragrance. But our favorite is the Ptolemy, which has a warm, deep scent that mixes charred wood with grassy vetiver.

Looking for a wardrobe workhorse? The ruggedly adaptable overshirt is more than simply a shirt but not quite a jacket. It can be a little tough to define, but one thing's for sure—every man should own one. And J.Crew makes one of the best (and more affordable ones) on the market. The soft small-wale cord shirt comes in over a half dozen colors—from neutrals like navy and grey to bold plaids and a color-blocked “fun shirt” style.
