This is way cooler than your standard sleeper sofa. And a lot more stylish (and comfortable) than an air mattress. Stephen Kenn, the Los Angeles-based furniture maker, has just introduced this clever innovation: a sleek sofa that looks great on its own but can easily be converted into two single beds (or a split king). The base has four deep storage drawers to keep extra blankets and pillows. What's more, if can be customized in a range of metals and fabrics. But such quality and design doesn't come cheap. Perhaps you could charge your first few houseguests to help recoup some of the cost.

Sexier than a cardigan and heavier than a standard shirt. That's the memo on this knit sweater from Second Layer. The pink and black check is finished with throwback pearl buttons and fitted perfectly to be worn over a tee either opened or closed. It works perfectly under a jacket as a secondary layer or on its own come spring.

It's cold, wet and icy out and you need sneakers that can keep up. At least that's what we're telling our partners who say we've already got too many shoes. The newest ACG trail sneakers have the same abrasion-resistant skins throughout the upper that you already love, but now they come with GORE-TEX technology so you can tackle wet weather. Plus, the grippy rubber outsole is highlighted with lugs that give you extra traction for wet, uneven surfaces. In short? They're the best looking survival sneakers on the market.

Nice Laundry just took something good and made it even better. They make some of our favorite lounge shorts—the four-way stretch nylon mesh is lined with a Micromodal interior making them some of the softest and strongest on the market. The cut is perfectly tailored and the satiny feel of the fabric makes them ideal for relaxing or working out. And now they've just released this limited-edition marble print that takes it to a whole new level.

This isn't a clock. Not in the traditional sense. It's more a time counter. The “Time Since Launch” capsule will mark the passage of time from the event of your choosing. Just pull the pin and it begins counting up, illustrating the days (down to the second) on a pair of LCD displays sealed with a borosilicate glass tube that is finished with galvanized aluminum endcaps. It's definitely a unique way to commemorate the start of something—a birth, a new job or wedding.
