Say hello to the short you'll wear all summer. Buy them now before they sell out. Then wear them in any and all situations. The bold print can be paired with a simple tee or a contrasting graphic camp collar shirt. They can be worn to workout or used as swimming trunks. Cut from a durable 4-way stretch nylon ripstop fabric, they can take a beating and still look sharp.

You know how you go into some stores and you can smell the “cool”? That's what it's like inside General Quarters in Los Angeles. They carry some of our favorite brands, have excellent customer service and have a house brand of minimalist candles that smell amazing. Their Mellow candle is a mix of smoky pinon wood, spicy clove and herbal hashish. It's warm and masculine, heady but not overpowering. And about half the price of what you'd expect for a hand-poured high-end candle.

Work pants are definitely having a moment. But as that moment stretches into summer, the heavyweight pants will become more and more uncomfortable. Buck Mason's new Craftsman pants offer a stylish West Coast solution. The pants are made from a light, 7.5 oz. cotton canvas with a sueded finish and a touch of stretch for easy movement. And they've been garment washed with enzymes for a soft, lived-in feel too.

Is it time for a new watch? Perhaps. With a throwback style, Tissot's PRX is a handsome Swiss-made mechanical watch that looks far more expensive than it really is. The integrated bracelet and barrel design not only gives it vintage '70s swagger, it also means the timepiece sits remarkably flat on the wrist for a comfortable, sporty fit. The Hodinkee Shop just reintroduced a timely green colorway (they seem to be having a moment, right?), but it also comes in black, white and blue. So choose your fighter for summer.

This shirt is something of a hybrid. It's what you might get if you mixed a workshirt, with a camp collar and a classic striped oxford. Cut from organic cotton, it's made even softer with J.Crew's new multi-step wash process to achieve a broken-in feel from day one. The collar is relaxed and open, the hem is straight and slightly cropped and the extra pockets should come in handy too.
