When Wes Anderson, the detail-minded director known for quirky films and even stranger props and wardrobe, released ,The Darjeeling Limited in 2007, one of the most talked about bits of the film was the 11-piece luggage set designed by Louis Vuitton's Marc Jacobs especially for the movie. Shortly after it hit theaters, the set was sold at auction, but the film's iconic styling seems to have inspired everyone's favorite trickle-down chain, Urban Outfitters. The men's spring collection features a belt which looks as if it was crafted from the Vuitton factory's scap pile. Then again, the whimsical stretch of suede might make for the perfect pairing to some madras shorts and a couple of dark n' stormys.
Photographer Peter Miszuk captured the images for Urban Outfitter's spring campaign by scanning items on a desktop computer scanner.
