The New

Originals

The words vintage, heritage or classic seem to be attached to a lot of new products these days but only a few brands are really doing something archival while still being original. J.W. Hulme Co.'s new collection called the Sporting Originals is just that—a new line of historically inspired bags that the century-old Minnesota brand actually created for outdoor outfitter Gokey over 35 years ago. Sparked by demand from their heritage-loving customers, the collection was crafted using perfectly matched materials to the original line (think 10 oz. waterproof canvas, rich full grain leather and matte nickel hardware). The bags are available in two options: A traveled version that has been individually stone-washed to give the bag a beat up and worn appeal, while the "do-it-yourself" types can opt for the un-traveld version which is completely raw.
