Road Test

Ratio Clothing

American-made shirting, custom made to your exact size and design preferences for about the same price as a shirt you'd buy off the rack—that's Ratio Clothing's mission. In less than a year, the online clothier has gained a rep for quality shirting, a user-friendly interface and simple returns and alterations. It almost seemed too good to be true, so I ordered up a shirt (the easy six-step process takes less than ten minutes) and three weeks later, I was wearing and washing my new spread collar gingham. I chose the "Ratio slim fit" and while the body, of course, felt like it was made for me, I really appreciate the smaller armholes and slimmer sleeves—an attribute I haven't found on many other made-to-measure shirts. The buttons are thick, the collar and placket are perfectly proportioned. Plus, they make sure to align the pattern on the yoke and sleeves. Just a few reasons why I'll be reordering again soon.
