The Kooples' Coats

Despite menswear's endless love for Americana's durable masculinity, there's been a rush of French labels getting attention lately for their easygoing sense of cool and badass rock 'n' roll vibes. And while most are high-end labels like Sandro, Saint Laurent and Officine Generale, there's one that's a bit more attainable—both in price and style. The Kooples, a Parisian brand founded five years ago by three brothers, is making headway here in the States thanks to their polished style with a downtown edge. It's a slick mix between American Apparel and APC with prices just north of Club Monaco. But for the craftsmanship, the price is well worth it. Especially for things like their outerwear, which is trim and tailored yet still tough looking.
