Tompkins pants, $75 at J.Crew; chambray shirt, $25 at Target; desert boots, $95 by Clarks
This is not a groundbreaking outfit. But it is one that I'll be wearing a lot in the coming months. Besides, when it comes to men's style, there's something to be said about standing apart—not out—from the crowd. I've always dug white denim but for whatever reason, on me, they looked somewhat affected. J.Crew's Tompkins pants, however, are cut like a pair of jeans, but made from a lightweight washed cotton. And just like a pair of Chuck Taylors, the pristine pants will look even better with a few scuffs. I'm topping them off with a chambray shirt—one of the coolest things (literally) you can wear when it gets warm. Ground the look with a pair of desert boots and I'm set for the season. Stylish, affordable and comfortable. Isn't that what spring style's all about?
