Rushing the Season

This fall, you'll be seeing a lot of diamond-stitched quilted jackets. Everything from traditional equestrian riding jackets and vests to the quilted blazers and sport coats that have been gaining in popularity for the past few seasons. We've barely dipped our toes into fall, but we're already champing at the bit, so to speak. You may not need one just yet, but there's something uniquely "fall" about a quilted jacket. Lightweight but substantial, they work in nearly any environment and when the beautiful, albeit fleeting, cool days make way to cold, bitter days, they make for ideal layering pieces. And while right now, the better looking ones are pretty costly, we've seen more affordable models from the likes of Zara and Benetton due out soon.
