The Easy
Washed Blazer

Suitsupply, $349

We're big fans of the unstructured sport coat here at Valet. It's a wardrobe workhorse that allows you to feel cool and comfortable while looking at once put together and relaxed. The soft-shouldered jackets were developed decades ago in Italy by some clever Neapolitan tailors, which explains why some of the best versions of today are made by the likes of LBM 1911 and Boglioli. But our favorite this spring is by Suitsupply, the Amsterdam-based brand that's been making waves in American menswear thanks to their modern take on traditional tailoring (and recent rollout of new stores across the country). The jacket is extremely lightweight and breezy thanks to the cotton/linen fabric made by Italy's renown Larusmiani mill. The washed out olive color looks particularly sharp with light blue shirts and easily pairs with everything from white or worn-out jeans to crisp chinos or navy trousers. And while the fit is tapered, it's tailored in such a way to make it feel like you've barely got anything on—which can come in handy when the summer turns swampy.
