Lightweight Summer Jeans

As any diehard denim wearer knows, sometimes pulling on a pair of selvedge jeans on hot, humid days can be uncomfortable at best. But at worst, it's a sweaty, suffocating, nut-hugging experience. This year, their seasonal offering is cut from a 10 oz. indigo-dyed canvas with a traditional red line selvedge developed with an Italian fabric mill. "We actually flew over to Italy to meet with them and decided that moving forward, we're only going to work with them for our denims and chambrays," says Taylor Stitch co-founder Michael Maher. "They rescued a whole bunch of old shuttle looms and are making insanely beautiful fabrics that you just can't produce using modern looms." The classic five pocket jeans come in both a slim-fit cut along with a more democratic, straight leg fit. They both feature a medium rise that's shaped to keep the back waistband comfortably against your skin and "some extra space to accommodate the boys."
