The
Watch Cap

The watch cap is a timeless piece, known by many names. It can trace its roots to the 12th century, but has evolved into the modern day "tuque," which is the hat's moniker in the Great White North. Traditionally knit from thick and naturally water-resistant wool, the old school cap might be the only piece of cold weather headgear that's as much about function as it is about style. Available in a variety of soft yarns—from Italian cashmere to simpler cotton blends—the caps look just as good with a dark suit as they will with your casual weekend wear. They might dent your 'do, but hat hair and winter go hand in hand.
