Long Summer Weekends

An outfit for Memorial Day
and beyond

Men's summer weekend outfit

We’re officially now in the season of pool parties, backyard barbecues, music festivals and summer Fridays. Memorial Day is quickly approaching—the first of hopefully many long summer weekends. It's not too early to think about what you will be doing for those three restful days.

Whether you're just meeting up with friends or packing for extended weekend excursions, you never want to be unprepared. Don't leave home without a pair of quick-drying shorts that you can also swim in, an oversized beach towel and water-resistant sunscreen (you slather it all over your body, so invest in a good one.) Throw a breezy textured shirt over a tank for a look that's stylish, relaxed and easy to pull off should you want to get some sun. And a classic pair of canvas sneakers will give your laid-back look a bit of timeless sophistication. Enjoy the extra day off from the work week, take a few obligatory Instagram pics, and rest assured you'll look and feel great while doing it.
