This hat just makes me happy. One, it's in a vibrant shade of green that I'm sure will pop against the grey, dull winter weather. But it's also sporting the signature Shaggy Dog label from the famed J. Press line of Shetland wool sweaters. This is, of course, made in Scotland and knit from the same brushed wool so it's extra soft, cozy and warm. It also comes in plenty of other colors, too, so take your pick.

It's the simplicity for us. Massena LAB, the creative studio founded by noted watch collector and industry expert William Massena, has teamed up once again with contemporary Italian watch manufacturer UNIMATIC on a new limited-edition timepiece. Inspired by German mid-century industrial design, like the work of Dieter Rams, the understated dial measures just 36mm for a more vintage look and feel. With a reliable self-winding Swiss movement, the watch boasts a 41-hour power reserve and is finished with a black tapered TPU strap (along with an optional strap in a very Valet. shade of yellow).

What do you get when you cross a bomber jacket with a classic cardigan? This handsome zip-up from Reigning Champ's new line of hand-knit pieces. Crafted with 100% Canadian wool and produced by skilled artisans on the west coast of British Columbia, the shawl zip sweater is knitted with durable heavy gauge wool in a full-cut silhouette for a modern, relaxed fit. This is an heirloom-quality piece you'll have for years.

I tried this on in-store and was blown away by how cool this seemingly simple nylon vest really was. For starters, it's reversible, which I always appreciate. It's like getting two styles for one price. The flip side of this is also nylon, but a crinkly Stone Island-y nylon with a weathered tie-dye print. The main side is a more substantial, weather-resistant shell cut from recycled polyester, finished with streamlined side flaps, a knit funnel collar and oversized patch pockets. I snapped a dressing room pic, decided to think on it but then posted the photo to my Insta story. By the amount of comments I got, I'm definitely headed back to pick it up.

How's your winter sock rotation? Could it use a few more hardy pairs? L.L.Bean makes some of the best—they knit these traditional ragg socks from soft, itch-free slub cotton yarns for an exceptional fit that won't bind or sag. The design has been improved this year by making them even more comfortable, and a little more stretchy, so they spring back after wearing. You need these for your boots, your Birks and your loafers.
