Pajamas

'Tis the season for sitting by the fire, sleeping in and nursing hangovers. Hopefully, you'll log some serious lounge time over the holidays and should you want to upgrade your around-the-house wardrobe, just know you're not alone. Apparently proper pajamas are enjoying something of a comeback, according to retailers. Maybe it's because guys are looking to previous generations for tips to step up their sartorial game. Or maybe the pieces themselves are now cut from new materials, in a more modern fit. L.L. Bean has a pair made from oxford shirting cloth and J.Crew is offering a washed flannel pair in a dapper navy trimmed in white that can be monogrammed. They certainly make the notion of staying in sound a whole lot more inviting. Just remember, when you wake up in a serious pair of PJs, you'd better not be munching on a bowl of Lucky Charms. It's black coffee and toast from now on.
