Olympic Outfitters

Later this month, when the London Olympics kick off, the American delegation of athletes will be sporting a range of gear. Everything from old school bomber jackets, retro board shorts and polished preppy attire to lightweight technical uniforms made from recycled water bottles and engineered for maximum speed. Herewith, a few of the styles you'll see at the games, and where you can get some of it yourself.

The Medal Stand

Depending on the sport, a medal-winner will wear a Nike Windrunner track jacket (at right) or a throwback bomber inspired by varsity letterman jackets.
