Slip-Ons

Why

There's a relaxed casualness to a pair of slip-on shoes. The kind of ease that goes hand in hand with the vibes of spring and summer.

Origins

In 1976, Vans introduced the #44 shoe, and with the help of skateboarders and BMX riders, the slip-on became a best seller.

How to Wear It

Worn-in and washed denim, slim sweatpants or office-appropriate trousers—there's no question that some slip-ons will pair nicely with all of them.

What to Look for

A really comfortable interior that can easily be worn without socks.
