Kempt reports from the recent Compass trade show and unearths these waxed canvas and leather boots by the British label Grenson. The design is based off an Italian infantry boot from World War I, making it a tough but lightweight replacement for your heavy winter work boots. If that's not your style, Grenson's designer Tim Little gave us his essential shoe checklist, with the five shoes every guy should have in his closet.
