The Berlin-based brand ADD quietly launched in 2000 with well-edited, laid-back lines for men and women, but spring marks the final co-ed collection. Designer Wibke Deertz has decided to focus solely on her passion for menswear—outfitting guys who simply want stylish clothes. Fashion without the capital F. It's an organic approach says Deertz, who grew up in Northern Germany and later studied sculpture at the Corcoran School of Art in Washington, DC before moving to Berlin to launch ADD. "I get most of my inspiration from watching how people dress around the world," says the designer and self-described travel junkie, (via email while on a research trip to China). "The non-fashion types—guys in uniform, construction workers or old people—are the most inspiring." This month, the label opens its first Berlin boutique and hopes to be selling online soon. Stay tuned or hope that she touches down in your town soon.

- Matt, OH

Answer
