Simple Sneakers

This week, Los Angeles sneaker shop Undefeated released their new collaboration with K-Swiss—the Deuce. An updated take on a 1966 design, the canvas kicks have a gum toe-cap and metal rings instead of eyelets for the laces (an old school K-Swiss signature). But what we appreciated most about these when we tried on a pair,  was the simplicity and restraint in the monochromatic sneakers.  There's not a lot of bells and whistles and yet there's enough design there to keep them from looking too generic.  And the color scheme seems tailored for the cords and tweeds  we're wearing this time of year.
