Rogue Territory
x IDC

Man cannot survive on blue jeans alone. And on days when you feel like something a bit slicker than your average dungarees, a pair of black jeans offers up a rugged refinement which makes for a cool alternative to flannel trousers. "There's a reason why black will always be the new black—there are no rules, you can wear black with anything—it's classic," says Karl Thoennessen of Rogue Territory. "I personally think that black jeans paired with a pair of brown boots and a beat up chambray shirt is the perfect look."

If you're in Vancouver this Friday (11/16) or Toronto on Saturday (11/17), stop by Dutil for the launch party.

Teaming up with the International Design Collective, Rogue Territory is releasing two pairs of limited edition jeans. The IDC is the brainchild of Eric Dickstein, owner of the Canadian denim shop Dutil. The goal for the IDC is to bring artisans together from all walks of life to create unique products offered for sale internationally. Rogue Territory's newest denim is one of their very first projects. Dubbed the Stealth 7 pocket series, Thoennessen reimagined two of his most popular fits (the SK and the Stanton) as the ultimate black jeans. They're made with 15oz Japanese selvedge denim from Nihon Menpu Mills, combined with 8oz herringbone pocket linings, black of course, and finished with black rivets and buttons. Each pair features a hand-branded black leather patch and are numbered and signed by Karl and Eric. As the name of the jeans might also imply, they feature 7 pockets instead of the traditional five. One, is the RGT signature pen pocket in one of the back pockets, the other is a hidden pocket tucked behind the leather patch. For whatever dark secret you need to conceal.
