If you've got some beer in the fridge and some bourbon on your bar cart, get ready for an easy yet satisfying drink sure to please any of your guests. It turns out, when mixed with maple syrup, fresh lemon juice and a little bit of lager, bourbon's smoky qualities are toned down to make a rich and sweet nightcap. “Beer has become very sophisticated and is the perfect base for a cocktail,” bartender Michael Przybyl, told Liquor.com. “Besides, why should liquor have all the fun in a cocktail?”
