We need more collaborations like this. 3sixteen has partnered with Los Angeles-based furniture design studio (and recent Morning Routine subject) Stephen Kenn to produce a set of special edition sofas. The custom couch is based on Stephen Kenn's iconic Inheritance Collection designs, featuring their trademark exposed frame and belt strap aesthetic paired with a supple natural vegetable tanned leather from Horween Leather in Chicago. The inspiration for these sofas came from vintage Scandinavian sling-leather chairs which often featured natural leather that would darken, scratch and soften over time with wear—not unlike a great pair of jeans.

If you want some old school shoes, go really old school. Founded in 1892, U.S. Rubber Company produced high-quality sneakers for many companies, including Keds and the United States military, until 1917. The brand relaunched in 2019 with the reissue of the classic military sneaker. Made in one of the oldest rubber factories in Europe, the sneakers feature a vulcanized sole, which makes them extremely durable and flexible. While they come in several colorways, we're partial to the deep, dark navy.

Need a cool cover for when the summer breeze blows? This is our new favorite hoodie. It's cut from the same 24-ounce French cotton terry that makes Birdwell's popular raglan crew so soft and comfortable. Equipped with a stitched-on, double-layer hood and two unique slanted front pockets to keep hands warm, it's garment-dyed and finished with a classic “V” stitch at the neck to hold its shape for a lifetime.

These are the ultimate pair of summer jeans. They're slightly cropped, with a relaxed tapered fit that is ideal for showing off your new loafers or sandals. Constructed from cottonized hemp, these jeans offer an authentic look and a softer feel, while requiring less water and fewer pesticides to grow. And the unfinished, frayed hem feels incredibly “right now.”

This is as handsome as it is efficient. The “All Glass Pour Over” is—like the name implies—made out of glass. Borosilicate glass, to be precise, which can handle the shock of hot water being poured over the coffee grounds. It's sleek, yes, but it also makes for a rich, flavorful pot of coffee. Best of all, you don't need any additional filters. Which means it saves some trees while putting a few bucks back in your wallet at the same time.
