The New Watches on Our Radar

From updated classics to limited-edition collaborations

A lot of new watch releases—like so many other releases in various industries—have been postponed. But that doesn’t mean there aren’t a slew on new timepieces to check out. If you’re looking to upgrade your wrist or treat yourself to something to help pass the time during an unconventional summer, here are five on our radar that we think should be on yours.

Todd Snyder
x Timex

A meticulous reissue of the game-changing quartz watch from the 1970s, updated with an exclusive new bracelet strap. Period details include a domed acrylic crystal and diver-inspired rotating top ring.

Daem

DAEM watches are designed in Brooklyn and made in Switzerland. They partnered with the estate of Jean-Michel Basquiat for three timepieces with straps inspired by the artist's personal style. What's more, this black-owned business has committed to donating profits from this month's sales to bail funds and the larger Black Lives Matter movement.

Autodromo

Autodromo's lightweight titanium and stainless steel Safari model takes inspiration from rally races and “the last romantic era of motorsport.” The rugged semi-matte green plating really makes it stand out.

Bamford
Watch Department

Bamford gave this simple watch to customers while their timepieces were being serviced. But with its durable polymer case and reliable automatic movement, it was so popular, they now offer the watch as part of their permanent collection.

Bremont

British watchmaker Bremont was founded by two pilots, so its latest launch makes sense. The automatic chronograph is inspired by personal jet packs and features a hardened stainless steel case with a scratch-resistant DLC coating.
