The Wall Street Journal's Ray Smith tackles the delicate subject of tucking one's pants into their boots. It's a vigorous debate, and one that will seemingly continue given that tucked styles are all over the current Fall 2011 collections being shown (see Paul Smith and Woolrich John & Bros. here as exhibit A. and B.) "It turns out that, for men, tucking pants in boots has become as polarizing and controversial a topic as popping collars on polo shirts or rolling up pants to show the ankle."
