According to WWD, who checked out Brooks Brothers' Fall 2010 collection, the venerable retailer is getting soft. The upcoming collection reflects a new, lighter mood including washed oxford shirts and the company's first unconstructed blazer that will be offered in navy, herringbone, tweed and corduroy.
It's all about how soft and unconstructed it can be," said Lou Amendola, chief merchandising officer. Unlined with no shoulder pads, this particular sport coat is "totally new for us.
