J.Crew's New Men's Shop

The men at Esquire hit up the new J.Crew store today in New York—a 3,400-square-foot wonder on the Upper East Side. The shop, like the brand's other mens shops are filled with great one-off pieces, vintage items and collaborations including bags by Swaine Adeney & Brigg and some very handsome (but expensive) shoes by British cobbler Crockett & Jones. VP of menswear Frank Muytjens picked out some of his personal favorites in the store.

We're selling some books in the store, but this one is very special for me: Buffalo by Ray Petri is a collection of images, mostly from the face, by the very influential British stylist. He had a big effect on me growing up. This book is out of print, and we only have two copies—but I hope to get more.
