Making Madras Work

Men of Habit has a nice piece on how to pull of madras (with some excellent photos by Unabashedly Prep's F.E. Castleberry). "It's a thin and almost tissue-esque fabric at times, which makes it a great choice for when the temperature reaches those outrageous highs," writes Christopher Callis. "Because the colors are usually washed out in a madras shirt, you get these plaids that look like they've spent years on the beach even though they're right off of the rack."
