Inside Richard Chai's Closet

The Wall Street Journal stops by Richard Chai's Manhattan apartment. The designer, who recently won the Swarovski Award for Menswear, let them snoop around his closet for a look at what makes up his everyday wardrobe. "Mr. Chai's men's line hews closely to how he dresses," writes Ray Smith. "Nearly three dozen plaid shirts (a grunge standby and mostly in muted colors), fuzzy sweaters, weathered Army surplus-store style jackets, skinny cargo pants in neutral colors and loads of sneakers fill up the two roomy closets."
