Monday, we mentioned on Twitter that Michael Bastian collaborated with Stubbs & Wootton, the venerable cobblers known for their luxe evening slippers (a favorite of Mr. Cator Sparks). Starting today, you can get your hands on the special edition slippers designed by Bastian. This pair, embroidered with seagulls, feature a longer toe and a higher vamp than the traditional pair. "We've been around for years but suddenly there's this interest," Stubbs founder Percy Steinhart told WWD. "It's just good timing. Everything is preppydom again."
