A longtime Alden lover, who introduced us to Oak Street Bootmakers, today he offers up a handsome pair that won't require any ramen eating to pay off: Florsheim Limited's Veblen, a new take on the company's 1949 long wing model. "I'm a huge fan of this particular color which isn't as dark as #8 cordovan and the natural colored welt," he writes. "It looks great dressed up or with denim, and the leather is pretty damn supple for a $160 pair of shoes."
