Timeless Leather Jackets

Sizing Tip

Don't be afraid to try a size smaller than you think you need. It will often provide the fit you're hoping for.

In terms of hardwearing outerwear, it doesn't get more iconic (or badass) than a good leather jacket. Wear them with a basic sweater, a simple T-shirt or even over a shirt and tie with some tweed trousers. Whether you're a racer man or lean more towards an old school bomber style, that's your call.

The Bomber

Based on the old WWII aviator jackets, these are leather jackets with swagger. Feel free to pop the collar. This American-made lambskin style is trimmed with dyed mouton lamb fur.

$610, by Schott

The Racer

A modern take on a motorcycle jacket that offers the rugged appeal without screaming "Hell's Angels." This oiled Italian leather version is distressed by hand for a weathered patina.

$895 / $627, by J.Crew

The Field Jacket

Influenced by M-65 fatigue jackets, with a band collar (some with hidden hoods), roomy pockets and a slightly longer silhouette. This one here is made with waxed leather that will lighten with wear.

$695, by Andrew Marc

The Classic

A straightforward style in rich leather, that offers a relaxed, yet polished vibe. This slim, sheep leather jacket is based on a jacket from the Levi's archive (and can be seen on James Bond in Skyfall).

$900, by Levi's Vintage Clothing
