The New Shoes on Our Radar

The coolest footwear to pick up right now

With so many great shoes dropping these days, we thought we’d pull a few of our current favorites to showcase. These are the kicks our team can’t stop talking about. But they’re the type that sell out fast, so if you’re digging them the way we are, you’d better pull the trigger.

Waffle One Crater

We like a sneaker that can give you the best of both worlds. You want vintage looks with new school comfort? This is your pair. Nike's heritage Waffle Trainer is as stylish as it is sustainable—the speckled look on the midsole is created from Crater Foam, a lightweight, cushiony material made from Nike Grind rubber and foam materials. For added depth, the sport-inspired upper includes transparent mesh made from recycled polyester.

The Boatflex

From our favorite Italian shoemaker, these suede beauties are like a boat shoe's cooler older brother. They're a little tougher and a helluva lot more suave. Cut from soft rough-out calf leather from Europe, the handmade shoes are grounded by a lightweight cushioned sole with grippy tread for easy, all-day comfort.

Ellis
Penny Loafer

Blackstock & Weber has quickly established themselves as makers of quality loafers that are cool, comfortable and unlike any others on the market. “A staple, but not like the joints your pops had,” says founder Chris Echevarria. For Fall, the standout from the collection are this twisted navy penny loafers. Look closely and you'll notice the leather and suede have been swapped—mirror opposites of each other. It's a subtle shift, but one that'll get noticed by those who really know what's up.

Tumeric
Camo Wallabees

The suede Wallabee is a classic shoe that's definitely enjoying a resurgence lately. So how do you separate yourself from the pack? You swap out the standard sandy beige suede for this combo of autumnal shades. The heritage-inspired take is finished with a bespoke, contrasting stitch pattern that makes these look a whole lot more expensive than they are.

Wooster Suede Slip-On

The Wooster is GREATS' version of an old school slip-on and they do it very well. For fall, they've introduced it in several new colorways including this tonal suede option. It's got a luxurious casualness to it—like “yes, I'm not going to bother with laces, but the rich suede says I've made an effort.” Plus, unlike other slip-on low tops, these are very comfortable to walk in.
