Before Abercrombie & Fitch became a store that sells half-naked dudes, they were an outdoors outfitter. One of the best outdoors outfitters, in fact. They sold Teddy Roosevelt all the crampons he needed to climb Kodiak bears in the Arctic and the special hat for chasing rhinos in the Sahara. In the 50s and 60s, they teamed up with Heuer to manufacture several watches, including the Seafarer. I pretty much hate boats, so I feel a little guilty about lusting after a nautical watch, but I think this is one of the most beautiful watches I've ever seen. I guess I'm about as likely to use the tide indicator to plan my mooring time as you are to wear those Red Wings to the job site ... so it all evens out in the end.
