Intel:
Orvis US Patent

Sartorially Inclined reports on the new heritage-inspired line by Orvis called US Patent. Instead of simply re-release archive designs, the company opted to collaborate with such popular brands as Schott, Gitman Bros., Grown & Sewn and Stronghold. The collection makes sense for the outdoor outfitter, and some of the pieces definitely look great. But Sart. Inc. worries that the pieces might be too authentic and not modernized enough (read: well-fitted).

Everyone clamors for made in the U.S.A. goods, but when it comes to the showdown, they are much more inclined to actually break out the plastic for "fitted" goods made anywhere but (i.e. Uniqlo, J. Crew, etc.). $170 khakis don't leave much money left over for your seamstress.
