When Men's Creative Director Frank Muytjens took over the helm at J.Crew, he gave the preppy retailer a well-needed shot in the arm. CEO Mickey Drexler sought to position the line as more of a luxury brand, and the casual elegance of Muytjens' designs slowly propelled the men's collections to new heights. This old bar in Tribeca has since been transformed to showcase key pieces from the men's collection as well as pieces from other companies that are stand outs in their fields. Expect quality footwear, luxe accessories and J.Crew suits in all sorts of fabrics and updated fits.
One corner of the store is stocked with vintage books from the legendary East Village bookshop, the Strand.
